JPLC at The Big Shabbat
JPLC was proud to be a “Participating Partner” in the Big Shabbat where over 2,700 participants broke the Guinness World Record for the largest Shabbat gathering of all time! Our being assigned Table 18 was just icing on the cake.

Shifting to a 10/8 playbook, an evening w/ David Harris
JPLC was proud to organize an evening w/ David for our broader Community around the launch of his latest book “ANTISEMITISM What Everyone Needs To Know”, copies of which were given to all attendees for David to sign, following the program. The event was held at Temple Israel on the Upper East Side.

Makom’s “Campus Ready”
JPLC was honored to work w/ the Jewish Agency’s Educational Think Tank “Makom” and to organize and Champion their Inaugural NYC “Campus Ready” Cohort, where high schoolers - mostly juniors & seniors - participated in a full-day of trainings to pilot Makom’s campus ready curriculum, engaged in real world issues and situations to prepare them for life on campus.

JPLC was proud to step in and organize an evening for our broader Community - w/ an emphasis students in grades 6 through 12 - for an evening w/ Rachel.

JPLC was proud to respond to one of the main topics of interest across our Council, at the time - both the merits and shortcomings of DEI, where our esteemed panel included David Bernstein, Founder of the Jewish Institute for Liberal Values (JILV now NAVI) and author of “Woke Antisemitism”, Dr. Brandy Shufutinsky, Director of Education & Engagement at the JILV, and Belle Etra Yoeli, Chief Advocacy Officer of the American Jewish Committee (AJC).

Momentum “On the Road”
JPLC was proud to host Momentum’s “On the Road” series, “Strengthening Jewish Identity as a Key to Addressing Antisemitism” with personality Adrienne Gold and Taglit Birthright Israel’s Head of Education & Strategy Dr. Zohar Raviv for our broader Community of Jewish parents and teens.
